Coventry is in the middle of a £9.4 billion programme of investment which has the potential to create 74,000 new jobs.
This section lists all of the projects and investments either underway or about to start in the city. There is more happening now than there has been at any time in our city's history and the Council is championing real and lasting transformational change, setting new design standards and a clear framework for the city's regeneration and continuing growth.
Coventry has been identified as one of only 20 New Growth Point's in the UK. This means, as part of a long-term partnership with the government, Coventry will deliver at least 37,000 new homes, grow and diversify the economy, create new jobs and encourage business development.
Major national companies including Severn Trent and the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency have chosen Coventry as their home and the city is proving that not only is Coventry the best located city in the UK, it also has a skilled workforce, two great universities and a Council with a can do attitude keen to work in partnership to make all relocations smooth, simple and fast.
