“In Spring 2005 the BBC will open a multi-million pound state of- the-art broadcast centre. It will be home to the new BBC Local Radio station for Coventry and Warwickshire, the BBCi local website, BBC Midlands Today and our exciting new interactive Open Centre.

Based at Priory Place, and part of the Phoenix Initiative, we're proud to be at the heart of the city as it develops. Our exciting plans mean that people will be able to see live radio in action. People will even be able to take part!

We'll have a network of reporters working across Coventry and Warwickshire finding the real stories that matter to local people and we are all looking forward to being in the heart of the city centre.”
