Adult Learning Inspectorate

The Adult Learning Inspectorate, the government body responsible for inspecting and reporting on the quality of education and training for adults and young people, moved to Coventry in April 2001.

With a remit focusing on training in the work place and the community, Coventry’s links with industry and education made it the perfect choice.

“It seems fitting that the ALI should be based at the heart of a thriving business area in a city which is fast becoming a focus for educational activity.” Coventry’s excellent communication and transport links are particularly important for an organisation whose 800 inspectors are based all over the country and use the Spring Place office as their national hub, bringing valuable business to the Coventry area.
